DOOLEYS Lidcombe Staff Update - Tuesday 11 August 2020

Team, The main Club at Lidcombe was contacted by NSW Health this afternoon to advise that there was a patron of the Club that attended the Club on Friday night between 5pm and 1.30am the following morning who has been confirmed to have Covid. In light of this news, the Club at Lidcombe, the Health and Fitness Centre and the Administration building have all been emptied and closed and will be cleaned in the next 24 to 48 hours. Priority will be given to the Club, followed by Health and Fitness and then the Administration building for a deep clean in line with Safe Work Australia guidelines.

NSW Health have advised that no-one needs to undergo any testing unless they are showing symptoms of Covid. This is largely due to the use of face masks, stringent hygiene practices and the Club’s Covid Safe Plan. At this time, it is anticipated that the Club will re-open from 5pm Wednesday afternoon (12 August, 2020) so all employees rostered from 230pm will be required to attend their shift with a view to re-opening by 5pm. The Health and Fitness Centre and the administration building will then be cleaned and further communication will be provided to advise of when these areas are safe to re-open.

This relates to the Lidcombe site only.

DOOLEYS Regents Park and DOOLEYS Silverwater will continue to operate as per normal.

If you are feeling concerned about your health, please speak to your GP or attend the nearest Covid Clinic for testing or Assure EAP is also available by 1800 808 374 if you are feeling anxious about the current climate.

Thank you for your support and caution over this challenging time and if you have questions or concerns, please contact peopleandlearning@dooleys.com.
